.SYNOPSIS...A warm front extending SE from low pressure just S of

Long Island will lift NE over the waters this afternoon. The low

will track slowly E across waters just N of the area while slowly

strengthening this evening into Tue, then clear NE of the area by

Tue night while weakening. The low will pull a cold front across

the N portions later today and tonight, with the front stalling

over the central waters Tue through Wed night while slowly

weakening. The front will slowly return N as a weak warm front

Thu, then merge with a cold front moving SE toward the N waters.

The cold front will move SE into the N waters Thu night, and

become nearly stationary Fri and Fri night as weak low pressure

areas form along the front.
