  Alligator River...



* Until 745 PM EDT.



* At 650 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bull

  Bay/scuppernong River, or 8 nm southeast of Albemarle Sound, moving

  east at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  The Vicinity Of Frying Pan, Alligator River Bridge, and The

  Vicinity Of Gum Neck.
