The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Lake Michigan from North Point Light WI to Winthrop Harbor IL 5 nm

  off shore to mid lake...



* Until 830 PM CDT.



* At 747 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 30 nm west of Saugatuck Pier Heads to 6 nm east of

  Waukegan Harbor, moving southeast at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
