SUMMARY OF 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- Location...17.4N 148.9E About 205 miles east of Alamagan About 210 miles east-southeast of Pagan About 225 miles east-northeast of Anatahan About 230 miles east-southeast of Agrihan About 260 miles northeast of Saipan About 275 miles northeast of Tinian About 330 miles northeast of Rota About 385 miles northeast of Guam Maximum sustained winds...150 mph Present movement...west-northwest...290 degrees at 18 mph DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon In-fa was located near Latitude 17.4 degrees North and Longitude 148.9 degrees East. In-fa is moving west-northwest at 18 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with little change in forward speed through Saturday. This general forecast track takes the center of In-fa just north of Agrihan. Maximum sustained winds remain at 150 mph. In-fa is forecast to slightly weaken through tonight, but will remain a Category 4 typhoon. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 85 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 155 miles.
