Choi-wan is moving north-northeast at 10 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the north with little change in forward speed through Sunday. Maximum sustained winds remain at 90 mph. Choi-wan is forecast to intensify through Sunday, potentially becoming Category 3 by Sunday afternoon. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 65 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 345 miles to the southeast and up to 275 miles elsewhere.
