Etau is moving north-northwest at 13 mph. It is expected to maintain this general course and speed through Saturday, continuining to move away from Wake Island and over open ocean. This general forecast track will take Etau north of 25N and out of our region later today. Maximum sustained winds remain at 50 mph. Etau is forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 105 miles to the east and up to 45 miles to the west.
