The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 

  Northeast Illinois

  Southeast Wisconsin

  Lake Michigan



* Effective this Sunday morning and afternoon from 945 AM until

  200 PM CDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible



SUMMARY...A cluster of thunderstorms will track east-southeastward

across the watch area through early afternoon.  These storms may

produce locally damaging wind gusts.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35

statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles north northwest

of Milwaukee WI to 45 miles south of Racine WI. For a complete

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening

weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce

tornadoes.

1 inch. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A few
