The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 

  Northern and Central Indiana

  Southwest Lower Michigan

  Northwest Ohio

  Lake Michigan



* Effective this Tuesday morning and afternoon from 1100 AM until

  500 PM EDT.



* Primary threats include...

  Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80

    mph likely

  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

  A tornado or two possible



SUMMARY...Isolated severe storms are possible this morning, but more

widespread severe weather risk is expected by early afternoon as a

fast-moving line of intense storms spreads across the watch area. 

Severe wind gusts are possible with this activity.



The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80

statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles south

southwest of Valparaiso IN to 55 miles east southeast of Fort Wayne
