Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A gradual expansion in storm coverage is expected through late evening across eastern North Dakota, where a few supercells with very large hail near 2 inches in diameter will be possible. Some clustering of convection is expected by early tonight with an increase in the threat for wind damage with thunderstorm gusts of 60-75 mph. An isolated tornado or two could occur with favorable storm interactions. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles north northeast of Hallock MN to 70 miles south of Jamestown ND.
