...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/
THIS EVENING DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR PORTIONS
OF NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA...

.Critical fire weather conditions are expected across much of
western North Dakota through 8 PM MDT this evening. A cold front 
is currently pushing south through western and central North
Dakota. West to northwest winds 15 to 25 mph ahead of the front,
will shift to the north 20 to 30 mph with gust to 40 mph directly
behind the front. The strong winds will last a few hours, before 
diminishing. Winds remain northwest to west then through the
night. Relative humidity will remain as low as 12 to 18 percent
this evening, ahead of the cold front.

* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of western North Dakota.

* TIMING...Until 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ this evening.

* WINDS...West to northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph
  shifting north 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph directly behind
  a dry cold front.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor 
  burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
