...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DENVER...SOUTHWESTERN
WELD AND NORTHWESTERN ADAMS COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM MDT...

At 351 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Brighton, or 20 miles north of Denver, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Eastern Thornton, northeastern Commerce City, Brighton, Firestone,
  Fort Lupton, Lochbuie, Hudson, Keenesburg, Barr Lake, Todd Creek,
  Wattenburg and Henderson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If on a lake, get out of the water and secure loose items. Boaters
can expect strong gusty winds and locally higher waves. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately.
